One of the
strongest parameter used to
rank the sucess of an institution is
placements.At MSEC the percentage of placements has been a key factor for its sucess and popularity in short duration. The students are offered placements at their final year of study. Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College which is only about 6 years of age has proved an exemplary
placement record through its dynamic and efficient
placement cell. The Placement Cell was established in
April 2004 and has been devoted to bridging the
Industry-Academia gap thus giving a wider exposure to
students thereby making them industry ready. As a part
of its training program the Placement Cell has
developed and conducted a unique event called "A Week of
E3event" at the beginning of each
academic year. The event has been a good precursor for the students to prepare for campus interviews. It encompasses various programmes including Mock Interviews/ GD's, Project Presentations, Personality Development Workshops etc. Companies ahve shown conmmendable appreciation for the effect of the programme on the performance of students during the ensuing Campus Recruitments
It is interesting to note that being
such a young campus, our alumini have been placed in IT giants including Adobe, IBM, Microsoft, Nokia and Symantec.
Several of the students from the
graduating batches have also taken up further studies at
reputed Universities in the
US, Europe and Australia.
Placements for the batch 2005-2009 have been immensely sucessful with over 85% being placed and more to come.
