The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department headed by Mrs. M.Soundarabala, was started in the year 2003. The Department boasts of its well equipped laboratories which are effectively utilized for research activities and on knowledge-based training. The faculties not only empower the students with conceptual depth but also enable them to meet the requirements of the industries.

ETA


Born with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) is the Electrical Technocrats Association (ETA). It is an active body that performs the various functions of the department including organizing major events for the benefit of the students and staff members.

VIDYUTH


A one day technical seminar organized by the department, where many eminent speakers and experts from various fields enlighten the students about the latest technologies.

NEWS LETTER


For the first time in the history of our college, ETA has come out with a fortnightly newsletter which covers technical articles in Science, Engineering, Technology, general awareness and Personality development, contributed by the students and staff of our department.

YOUNG SCIENTIST CONVENTION (YSC)


Conducted every year on Sir Albert Einstein’s birthday, this event provides a platform for our students to exhibit new innovative ideas bringing out the creative juices in our students.

ACADEMICS


It is notable that the students have performed consistently in the University examination. We are proud to emphasise that our passed out final year students have secured three University ranks. The department secured rank 3 among 242 colleges.

 

EPSILON


A National level technical symposium that is organized every year by ETA comprising many technical and non-technical events to prove the managerial skills of the students and exhibit their team work Epsilon ‘10 had the theme GREEN REVOLUTION to spread awareness to the world about various pressing issues to save nature.

SPORTS


Students bagged the sports championship runner-up shield for this academic year topping all other departments.
